About

nourish (verb);

nour·ish

  1. to provide food and nutrition to promote growth and health

  2. to nurture and support

  3. to sustain and maintain

A well-nourished mind can think clearly and thrive. It is free to be curious, to dream, and is resilient and optimistic.

Nourishment is more than just eating nutritious food (although that’s important). It is connecting with, and honouring, our thoughts and emotions; living in alignment with our values; and finding the things that make our soul sing.

When it comes eating disorders and developing a healthy relationship with food, nourishment is essential for recovery. It means providing your body with the nutrients it needs to heal, as well as giving your mind the support, guidance and encouragement it needs to overcome disordered eating.

At The Nourished Mind, we believe recovery from an eating disorder is possible for everyone. We offer a safe and supportive space where you can unpack disordered eating and learn how to nourish your mind, body and soul in a sustainable and balanced way.
